Sean Hayes has always been interested in illustration, but didn’t get into writing and illustrating comics until college, when he started a comic strip titled “8-bit Williams” for Williams College’s humor magazine, the Mad Cow. Revolving around the college life of an iguana and an elf studying to become video game characters, the strip evolved into a semi-autobiographical commentary on life. It’s gone through a few reboots, but it’s now settled into a story of video game characters living their lives.
Sean currently lives in the Berkshires and tries to juggle a full-time job with many creative pursuits, as well as clearing out his gaming backlog, carrying out home improvement projects, hiking, kayaking, and baking pie-cakes.
